# Battlefield Kitties > The vet is making house calls. General McFluffy has a helmet, a tank and a squad of very annoyed cats. Build your defenses, call in the bombers and stop the grooming wing before it reaches the door. Battlefield Kitties is a tower defense game for iPhone, iPad and Android made by ForgeStack, LLC (https://forgestack.studio). Coming soon to iPhone and iPad on the App Store, and to Android on Google Play. Fifteen rooms, from the backyard to the clinic itself. Vacuums come through the doors, bath tubs come down the stairs, and the Cone of Shame shields whatever hides behind it. You put cats on the rings beside the road, upgrade them, choose their specializations and keep the fish coming in. When it all goes wrong, McFluffy drives in himself. Or call in the bombers. Or drop a catnip cloud that sends the enemy home confused. Or paratrooper kittens, which are exactly what they sound like. Three difficulties. Recruit to see the house, Soldier for a fight, and Veteran to lose the same room four times and love every minute of it. ## Pages - [Home](https://battlefieldkitties.com/): the game, the squad, the enemies, the rooms and the difficulties - [FAQ](https://battlefieldkitties.com/faq/): frequently asked questions - [Press kit](https://battlefieldkitties.com/press/): Everything you need to write about Battlefield Kitties: the facts, the description, the art and who to ask. - [Privacy policy](https://battlefieldkitties.com/privacy/): Battlefield Kitties collects nothing about you. This page says exactly what that means. ## The commander - **General McFluffy** (The commander): The first cat ever to get out of the clinic, and the door left him a scar to prove it. Now he has a helmet, a cigar and a tank, and he talks the whole way through every fight. ## The cats - **Box Cat** (Cheap, quick, everywhere): A slingshot and a cardboard box. Fast shots, but stones bounce off armor. Becomes the Marble Cat, whose steel marbles nothing bounces off, or the Gatling Cat, a hail of pebbles for swarms. - **Laser Cat** (Long reach, cuts armor): Burns straight through armor from across the room. Becomes the Sniper Cat, the boss killer, or the Beam Cat, which burns three in a line. - **Nap Cat** (Sleeps, then swings): Wakes up swinging at everything in reach, then goes back to sleep. The Heavy Sleeper sleeps longer and wakes up furious. The Light Sleeper catnaps and is back up sooner. - **Cucumber Mine** (Blows up on contact): Every cat's worst fear, weaponized. Blows up on contact, then re-arms. The Pickle Barrel makes a much bigger blast. The Vinegar Mine hides under leaves and leaves everything it hits crawling. - **Yarn Cat** (Slows everything down): Throws yarn. Tangled enemies crawl, and more yarn slows them more. The Wool Net catches a whole crowd. Barbed Yarn has needles in it, so now it hurts too. - **Hairball Mortar** (Long range, hits a crowd): Lobs hairballs a long way. Slow, but every one lands on a whole clump. Big Bertha fires one enormous hairball. Furball Flak fires four small tubes in a steady rain. - **Fish Stall Cat** (Pays the bills): No weapon. Sells fish and pays out at the end of every wave. The Cannery pays more than twice as much. The Fish Fry pays extra for every enemy that dies nearby. ## Orders - **The Tank** (McFluffy drives in): Send him anywhere on the road: he blocks it and shells whatever comes close. Hit CHARGE and every cat near the tank fires twice as fast. - **Air Strike** (Three bombing runs): Bombers carpet the whole room three times. Every enemy on the field takes a hit on each pass, armor or not. - **Catnip Bomb** (Sends them home confused): A cloud settles on the road. Anything that walks in turns around and wanders back the way it came, and takes extra damage while it's in there. - **Paratroopers** (Kittens. From the sky.): Squads of kittens drop onto the road right in front of the enemy. Nothing gets past them for twelve seconds, and they club whatever is close. ## Enemies - **Spray Bottle** (Small, fast, wet): The first thing through the door, and it never comes alone. - **Rubber Duck** (Squeaks): They come in flocks, and bath tubs shed them as they take damage. - **Vacuum** (Armored and loud): Stones bounce right off it. Bring lasers. - **Nail Clippers** (Goes for the paws): Fast and mean. Keep your distance. - **Cone of Shame** (A shield on legs): Anything walking behind it is half as easy to hit. Take the cone out first. - **Roomba** (Fast, armored, relentless): It does not stop, and it does not care. - **Vet Carrier** (Big and slow): Heavy, slow and full of bad memories. Costs you three lives if it gets through. - **Flea Spray Drone** (Flies over everything): Only Laser Cats and Box Cats can reach it. Look up. - **Bath Tub** (A walking bathtub): It walks. It sheds rubber ducks. It costs you five lives if it makes it to the door. ## The final boss - **Doctor Pawsworth's Exam Table** (The final boss): A steel exam table on caster wheels, with a lamp that pins your cats in place and a rack of tranquilizer darts. The carriers strapped to its back burst open as it breaks. Doctor Pawsworth himself is only ever a voice on the intercom. ## Rooms 1. The Backyard 2. The Living Room 3. The Kitchen 4. The Hallway 5. Three stars if you earn them. - **Veteran**: Tougher enemies, short breaks and seven lives. Hold a room and it earns a medal. ## FAQ ### What is Battlefield Kitties? A tower defense game for iPhone, iPad and Android from ForgeStack. You command General McFluffy and his squad of cats as they hold a house, room by room, against the vet clinic's grooming wing: vacuums, bath tubs, nail clippers, flea spray drones and a final boss that is an exam table. ### When can I play it? Battlefield Kitties is coming soon to iPhone and iPad on the App Store, and to Android on Google Play. ### How many levels are there? Fifteen rooms in the campaign, from the backyard to the clinic itself, each playable on three difficulties. Earn five Veteran medals and the Last Stand opens: endless waves on the driveway, for a high score. ### What are the difficulties? Recruit has softer enemies, more fish and longer breaks, and tops out at two stars. Soldier is the game as it was meant to be played. Veteran brings tougher enemies, short breaks and seven lives, and every room you hold earns a medal that buys Veteran-only upgrades. ### Do I need an internet connection? No. Battlefield Kitties plays offline, and your progress is saved on your device. ### Does it have ads or collect my data? There are no ads, no accounts and no tracking. The game collects no personal data at all. The privacy policy has the details. ### Are any cats harmed? No cats were harmed in the defense of this house. No dogs either. Several vacuums were. ### Is it for kids? It's a cartoon, and nothing gets hurt but the furniture: the enemies are grooming gear and household appliances, and there are no people on screen. The humor is aimed at grown-ups, though. The general chews a cigar and yells a lot. ### Is it on Android? Yes. Battlefield Kitties is coming to Android as well as iPhone and iPad. ### Who makes Battlefield Kitties? ForgeStack LLC, an independent studio. It was made by Bradley Jackson, who also makes roariverse: dino games and Reagan Air Heart. ## Contact hello@forgestack.studio
